Well today is the day, Cyber Monday. The Monday following black Friday, and could be a record breaking day. Did you go shopping on black Friday? I bet you did what I have been doing, shopping online and listening to your favorite music. I went out to some stores on black Friday just to see if all of the sale items where gone. Yes most of the shelves where empty but not all like most years. I could if I wanted to buy some of the items that where for the early shoppers. But I have found better deals on the internet. One place I have found to be the best place to shop is Amazon.com. I was able to purchase a gift for my wife cheaper than a local store. Now I still try to do some of my purchases here in my local area to help support local businesses. But if the price online is way cheaper than the local store I am going to go with the online purchase. If I am going to need service on the spot and the price is close then I will purchase from a local store. Read the rest of this entry »

Black Friday is the biggest shopping day in the USA. People line up at 5am in front of stores to wait for them to open. As the doors open they charge in as fast as they can to get the bargains that have been advertised. Unfortunately there are some injuries and other miss fortunes that fall upon some of them as they rush the door. I have been been one of the early shoppers in the past. I do not do it anymore. Why, because I shop online line for the best deals. I can search for the best deals and do price comparisons in the safety of my home while sipping on my favorite drink. I have found that I can even find coupons online http://www.couponalbum.com for the items I am looking for. If I find a better price online I can print the add or listing out and take it to the store and sometimes I get that price. You can click the picture below to go to an online store. FTC Crackdown I have been reading allot about the FTC changing the laws that will effect Internet Marketing. Some writings make it sound gloom and doom. Some are making it sound like it will flush out all the fakes and cause the real and truthful marketers rise to the top. This could be true. Over the past two years I have been transitioning from a traditional business with employees to just doing internet marketing. I have to say it has been a bumpy and costly road. About every three months or so I have had to not only learn the original way of doing Internet Marketing but learn the changes as they came. Now the sweeping changes of the FTC laws. I am only sharing things that I have in my email box. Links to other posts that you can read and maybe some of it will help you. Some of you may say well that’s what I have already heard. I posted this today after watching a video.
I am glad that someone took the time to make this video. It is very well done and it should be shown to every customer support person in the world. Sometimes I hang up (I do say good bye) on customer support because they are so negative on the phone. That goes for online tech support also. You can tel the support person does not have a good attitude by how short and useless the reply is to my question. Online bad support will cost you 24 to 48 hours before the correct support is given. Because I get this type of bad support I do not buy from the company again and cancel any and all subscriptions. I am happy to say there are some great tech support people out their but not many from my experience.
